A few weeks ago we attended SIAL fair in Paris, where we had the chance to meet many clients from all around the world.

For the occasion, on the 17th of October, we organised a private event for our clients in the center of Paris. The event was a show-cooking at the beginning and tasting afterwards; we had the chance to bring to the event the Michelin star chef Óscar Calleja from restaurant Ment in Salamanca.

The aim of the event was to gather potential clients for the company Guijuelo Gourmet, while presenting them new products in a tasting menu. The plates were each paired with various wines from “NUMANTHIA”

The menu consisted as follows:

  • Showcooking:

Acorn-Fed Iberico Ham / Iberico pork taco, corn emulsion and unexpected crunchy

  • Starter:

Iberico pork meat “Carnitas” Taco

  • First Course:

Glazed Iberico pork cheek with mushrooms, apple and plum

  • Second Course:

Barbecue Iberico pork ribs

  • Dessert:

Strawberry soup and cheese / Iberico torrezno petit, chocolate and gold
